WHAT IS BOUTIQUE SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY?
Boutique School Photography is a custom photography experience for select schools (and preschools) in Oregon. I provide a professional and personal experience and a product that delivers authentic, artistic images of children.
My lifelong experience with children helps me provide an experience and atmosphere for children that is relaxed and uplifting. I do not force smiles or poses and aim to capture a range of expressions through simple interactions with each child. The black backdrop is simple and timeless, allowing the personality and uniqueness of each child to take center stage.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
We strive to make this easy for school personnel. We take care of communication with parents by providing emails, texts, and / or flyers for you to pass along to parents and guardians. As orders are made online, we handle the orders and money thereby freeing up the responsibility of children, teacher, and staff. We also organize and deliver the images to your school when the order arrives.
We provide all equipment and personnel (keeping it to a minimum) needed for photo day. If a couple of parents would like to volunteer to assist, that works too!
A detailed web page for parents describing photo day preparation and ordering procedures is provided to each school to be distributed prior to photo day. You can expect email updates from me on preparation and progress before and after photo day.
We aim for a seamless and easy proofing / ordering process for parents. I directly respond to parent’s questions regarding the ordering process.
Additionally, we offer staff and sibling photos upon request and are happy to discuss other needs you may have to make this a custom experience for your school.
WHAT ARE THE COST TO THE SCHOOL AND PARENTS?
There is no cost to the school for photo day; all profits are made from orders. Pricing is competitive with variety of options to accommodate everyone. Parents simply order what they want with no obligation or minimum purchase required. Prices for digital files begin at $35 and a la carte items at $20.
We offer a 10% donation to your school based on profits from sales.
WHAT SPECIAL REGULATIONS ARE IN PLACE DURING THIS PANDEMIC?
We keep staffing to a minimum, disinfecting spray and hand sanitizer on site and follow masking mandates while we are in your school. Our online communication and ordering process has improved to help contact be kept at a minimum. Images can be taken outside for an extra precaution
WHAT IF WE ALREADY HAVE PHOTOS SCHEDULED FOR THIS YEAR?
Because these images are so different from what is traditionally offered they can be used for second semester photos, in addition to what you may already have booked. They can be offered as a special spring or holiday (mother’s day!) experience to offer something special and unique to your clients.
