This girl.
Crazy about dancing (she dances competitively, she's amazing!), boys, hair, make-up, and all things FASHION! Her warm personality and enthusiasm for life is contagious. I'm trying to cook up ways to keep her around.
This just for fun, creative teen photoshoot took place at City Creek Center in Salt Lake City, UT. We wandered around seeing what kind of magic we could create. We had so much fun! We aren't going to talk aboutnthe, ahem, parking ticket. Four minutes! Get the extra hour, friends. You're welcome.
Anyhoo.
Meet Heather:
I am a hard worker. I like to challenge myself.
Being a ninth grade girl is rough sometimes! Sometimes all the pressure gets to you, when everybody's telling you to be perfect, and no one seems to realize that it's okay to have bad days.
I loved the photoshoot, I felt so happy! I loved being near the temple, and with someone that I love being around. Looking back on it now, I feel hopeful knowing that there are still good people in this world and not everyone is going completely psycho haha. {Thanks, Heather! I'm glad to have you fooled. ;) }
Envy. That's my weak spot, I envy everyone, I always think I'm not good enough, pretty enough, or even talented enough.
I'm proud that I'm a hard worker, although I may work harder at some things (dance) than others (school) haha! I'm proud that I'm good with kids and am excited to have my own family one day.
I'm proud that I challenge myself, and although I do have my bad days I'm proud that I can always take a step back and appreciate and be thankful for all that I have.
Recently I've learned that everyone is different and everyone is beautiful in their own ways. I was thinking about this while at dance one day. I came up with this quote . . .
. . . "Everyone is on a different journey. We all just need to learn to dance to the music we were given."
Isn't she beautiful (inside and out!)?! Feel free to leave her a little love in the comment section below, and take her tip to "dance to the music you've been given."
If you're looking to book your own senior, teen, or family photography session, I'd love to hear from you!
